TEXT MESSAGING

If you would like to receive text messages from Souderton Dolphins, please follow the directions below to add your cell phone number. 

  1. Log into your Account (www.soudertondolphins.com)
  2. Go to My Account > My Account
  3. In the “Email and Text Messaging Setup” box, click add SMS ( this takes a moment to load )
  4. Enter your Cell Phone Number
  5. Choose your Cell Phone Carrier
  6. Click Send
  7. A pop up will say that a text has been sent to the cell number for verification
  8. Check your cell phone for this message and note the Verification / Validation code.   Note that some cell carriers can take a while to deliver the message.
  9. Enter this number in the “Verification Code” field and click Verify. This MUST be done for the number to be activated for use.
  10. The cell number will appear in the box with the “Verified” checkbox checked

We will use text messaging to alert parents of cancelled practices and delays or cancellations at meets due to weather. 

 

POSITIVE CHECK IN

Coaches is excited to use one of the features of our web-site to assist them in creating line ups for our swim meets.  This year he will be utilizing positive check ins.  A positive check in is when the swimmer indicates if they will be attending a swim meet.  If your child is not checked in they will not be placed on the line ups.  

Board Members will be pulling a report two days prior to each meet to assist Coach Lou with making his line-ups.  You will have up until two days prior to a meet to change your status.  If you are unable to attend the meet because of last minute issues, you MUST email Coach Megan [email protected] 

  1.  Log into the web-site (www.soudertondolphins.com)
  2. Click on Events Tab
  3. Click on the Event that you would like to Check into
  4. Click on the Attend/Decline Button
  5. Click on your child’s name
  6.  Click on select and choose from the drop down.
    1. Yes, please sign (your child) up for this event.
    2. No, thanks (your child) will NOT attend this event.
  7. Include any special notes you would like Coaches to see.
  8. Click Save Changes
  9. Repeat for each child in your family.

JOB SIGN UP

Souderton Dolphins is a volunteer organization that requires each family to assist with four meet jobs for the season. To sign up for a job please follow the instructions below:

  1.  Log into the Web-site (www.soudertondolphins.com)
  2. Click the Events Tab
  3. Click on the Event you are interested in Volunteering at
  4. Click on the Job Signup Button
  5.  Find an empty slot shown as “______”.
  6. Click on the checkbox in front of the empty slot that you want to sign up for.
  7. Click the Sign Up Button
  8.  Add any additional contact Information (cell phone number).
  9. Click Sign Up
  10.  If your Account name is printed right after the checkbox, you've signed up for that job. You do NOT have to "Signup" again. You, however, can use the "Remove Signup" button to remove the signup if you no longer want to work on that job.
  11. Repeat steps for each event you would like to sign up for.

Note: If someone else's name is printed, that job slot is not available for you to sign up (this is a first-come-first-serve system). You can only sign up for the empty slots shown as "---------".

Commiting to an Invitational meet

 Log into the web-site (www.soudertondolphins.com)

  1. Click on Events Tab
  2. Click on the invitational that you would like to commit to
  3. Click on the Signup Record pull-down and select Yes   
  4. Once yes is selected, you will see the events your child MAY be eligible to swim   
  5. You will also see the best times inserted into the Entry Time field and highlighted in yellow   
    1. Note, if no time is present, we will do our best to find one or register you with No Time 
  6. Check the Checkbox to the left of the name for those events you would like to swim      
  7. Once you have finished, click on the Save Changes Button in the lower right   
  8. Repeat the process for additional swimmers   
  9. You will notice that Coach Approval column will indicate Pending after  you submit   
  10. Payment due in a marked envelope in a folder in cash or check to Souderton Dolphins

Your coach or team administrator will review your declaration and APPROVE or REJECT your request and once they submit the final choices you will be able to review by signing in and clicking on the Attend This Event button for any events listed on our team website. Look at the Coach Approval column to confirm the events that you wanted to swim.
